Yes I know many who are reading this or have read it recently. I actually baught this book months ago but have had some other book higher on my priority list. Then I kept seeing copies of this book laying around and decided that that was God trying to tell me "HEY remember that book you baught... It kinda is about me... and I want you to read it". So I have been trying to absorb every word written which is why I am only on page 100:-) But on page 100 I found this:

(I wake up to find it's another four aspirin morning, and I dive in. I put on the same clothes I wore yesterday. ...the fires
...my driving test was cancelled
...o yeah and this really amazing guy came over and brought me like basically a million balloons :-)

so this morning he came up behind me in the greenroom while i was setting up and wrapped his arms around me and handed me a single red rose...

Someone out there for some reason does not want me to get my license! I am 17years 1 month and 21 days old and I still don’t have my license! This is for many reasons…Heres a few:

1. I have a job.

2. I have a weekend job.

3. I’m a high school student.

4. I’m a high school student who does her homework.

5. I had to prove that I was responsible before I even took the class.

6. I had to actually sign up for the online class.

7. I had to find time to actually do the online class.

8. I had to find time to actually make a DMV appointment.

9. I had to actually find someone to take me to the DMV.

10. I had to find time to go to the DMV.

11. I had to continue being responsible.

12. I had to schedule my first behind the wheels.

13. I had to attend my first behind the wheels.

14. I had to put up with the weird behind the wheel instructor.

15. Then I went and lost/ stole my permit.

16. Then I went to 3different summer camps consecutively.

17. Then I went to our harbor house for 10 days.

18. Then I started school again.

19. Then I had to schedule another DMV appointment.

20. Then I had to go to the DMV.

21. Then I had to wait a long time at the DMV.

22. Then I had to schedule my second and third behind the wheel.

23. Then I had to schedule my driving test.

24. I then had to complete my behind the wheels complete with practice driving tests.

25. Then the fires started.

26. Then my driving test was cancelled due to “weather”.

27. Now I have to be responsible again before I can schedule my driving test!

Man I really want my license! At this rate I’ll be 30 when I get my license! It might sound like a bunch of excuses… and it is! But I really want my license! It would make everyones life way easier.

Lately my english class has been really annoing me with...

massive amounts of homework

an extremly annoying student teacher who quotes the "American Haritage dictionary"

and never changes her clothes

But this week has been nearly unbarable. Our teacher assigned us an impossible essay and gave us hardly any time to prepare. So i spent all night outlining one paragraph so i wouldn't look like an idoit in class. But , from what i later realized, hardly anyone had done anything to prepare. Now I am fortunate enough to have the presance of Carson Lieth and Nathan Styfee sitting next to me. So in the middle of the longest hour ever I look over and see Nathan doing the Shmotis (a silent football move first used this summer at thousand pines). So i gave myself a chukkle and looked up to see carson initiating a dubble thwap to me :-) this game lasted about 2 min. Until we fumbled the ball and Nathan wished to adress the comisioner, which became problematic as it is we were in the middle of an essay and wern't allowed to speak.

CHOCTOBER!!!!!!!!!

So many of you know my dad as the cool guy at_____________.(fill in the blank)
(ex. trader Joe's, trams, beach cafe, etc.)

But this weekend in Wildside he was introduced as undefeated world champion chocolate mile slider.

He entertained the 9:00am Jr. High students with his amazing costumes and his stupid humor jokes (Why did Jesus go to Japan?...because he loves me so...like miso soup).

BTW he did beat out all the little Jr. Highers twice... and lived to tell the story:-)

So then he stopped to take this picture with a friend of mine... Grant the raptor.(picture taken by champagne)

Yes that is a smiley face using his nipples... his back said "God Rulz" written in the lovely handwriting of our very own Kurt Jonston.

Samson and Delilah

Well so their story begins while Heather's daughter and Heather's daughter's friend were doing dishes and came across a pickle jar. Well they decided to do something creative with it so they gave it to the Sunday night crew. Adam and Brian A came up with the clever idea of making it into a fish tank. So Heather's daughter's friend went after we put dinner out to buy a fish. Everyone had decided earlier that the best place for her to go considering gas efficiency, and money efficiency would be the wonderful world of Walmart. She decided on getting two fish so that they could be the first people ever to breed fish out of pickle jars. So Heather's daughter and Heather's daughter's friend decided to name them Samson and Delilah (after the bible story that they had heard at least 6 times that summer). On the way home Samson wasn't looking too strong and was floating towards the top of his bag. By the time Heather's daughter's friend got Samson and Delilah back to the facilities work room Delilah was going down right behind him. In the frantic revival Brian A, Heather's daughter, and Heather's daughter's friend fed the two fish and put them in their pickle jar and added pure aquafina water. They couldn't do any more but wait and see what happens. You can see what happened yourself...

HUME LAKE 2007

Hume Lake was so amazing!!! A great time with friends and God! We had some great talks and we were all humbled at the great number of people that walked up on the second night to give their lives to Christ.

So after a terribly long night working a singles dance at church (which btw was hallarious, I had a great time watching people dance haha), Me Morgan and Heather went back to my house for some jacuzzi. Well there was a grd party goin on so instead of hangin there watchin them get drunk ("Hey ladies I'm drunk deal with it")we decided to steal their balloons and play with helium! So thus my amazingly awsome conversation in extreamly high squeeky voices:

Heather: IDK my BFF Jill!
Morgan: You stole mine you bitch!
(Not in a high voice)
Morgan: Sorry I don't normally cuss but hey it worked.
(In a high voice)
Heather: Don't call me a bitch you whore!

Well we said this all while laughing!

To end the night we stayed up till 3:30 talking to tired people on the phone.

Brian: "I believe it taste like a plethera of dancing fruits jumping off my tounge into an icy pool of fruity love. With the intervention of cranberry at the end of my thirtsy taste buds(not saddleback buds) mixed wildly with the rasperry splash of goodness, I give it a 6.3 out of ten. untill next week!"

So as many of you know I love to text.(go ahead text me I'll reply) I am also a proud user of t9. I was sitting in my room working on homework today and I hear my dad passionatly excitedly talking to my mom. So I did what was right and listened in. He was so excited he had figured out how to use t9 and was showing my mom its amazing wonders. My mom was commpletely confused and didn't understand why he was so excited. But now I have another family on my side.

I miss waking up with 10 other girls cramped in a tent.

I miss brushing my teeth with 500 other people.

I miss loud dance party van rides all over south america.

I miss amazing worship every morning and night.

I miss dancing and jumping and worshiping God with all of the little ninos.

This weekend many of us that are apart of HSM said goodbye to a great friend. I thought it was so amazing how many students gave up their saturday nights to sing in a choir even though they had no vocal talents. haha jk. It was so amazing to watch so many people care so much for one mans future even though he has literally beaten them to the ground. Doug Elliot we are all going to miss you and your presance greatly. The people you are going to encounter wherever you may end up going are lucky. I am so thankful for you and your additude. I love and am going to miss you Doug.
